Colonel Darrell P. Wagner is the comptroller for the Air Intelligence Agency, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. AIA?s mission is to gain, exploit, defend and attack information to ensure superiority in the air, space and information domains. The agency?s people worldwide deliver flexible collection tailored air and space intelligence, weapons monitoring and information warfare products. As comptroller for AIA, Colonel Wagner is responsible for overall policy direction, fiscal control and financial analysis of more than $1 billion. He also serves as principal financial advisor to the AIA commander and staff on all fiscal activity affecting AIA, including plans, programs and budgets.

Colonel Wagner was commissioned through the Reserve Officer Training Corps and entered active duty in July 1974. He has served in comptroller and command positions at all management levels including Headquarter Strategic Air Command, Headquarters U.S. Air Forces in Europe, Headquarters Air Combat Command, Headquarter Air Force and wing and base positions.
