Fisher House, Inc. hosts three, annual events: Golf Tournament, Appreciation Luncheon and Volunteer Luncheon. These events allow us to stay connected with our community supporters and celebrate all those who help fulfill our Mission and Vision.
Our 11th Annual Golf Tournament was held 19 August 2016. This is quickly becoming one of San Antonio’s most popular non-profit golf tournaments. To the left is the first place team and below photos are some of our great moments and poses.

Each year, we host an Appreciation Luncheon to exhibit gratitude for our donors, military, and community supporters. After lunch and a brief ceremony honoring key supporters, attendees are welcome to tour our facilities at Lackland Fisher House. Our 4th Annual Appreciation Luncheon took place 12 October 2016
This year during our volunteer luncheon we honored “The Forget Me Not Sisters” organization with the Angel award. For the last two years they restocked pantries, linen closets, and paper goods, folded linen, and helped prepare food to be donated to the food bank. This group of outstanding volunteers dedicated hundreds volunteer hours to server the Lackland Fisher House. From the staff and families we say thank you to the Angel award winners and to all the other volunteers who supported the Lackland Fisher House over the last year.
Simply put, without volunteers like the volunteers that assisted through out the year, our houses would not have the love and support needed for our cherished military families staying at the Fisher House.
